He was the publisher of HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY REPORT a monthly newsletter for 20 years, taught Restaurant and Hotel Management at San Diego Mesa College for 22 years, Hospitality and Casino Management at San Diego State University for 6 years and is now a Certified American Hotel Lodging Institute Instructor.
THERON FISHER designed, opened and operated food and beverage operations for hotels, casinos, and independent restaurant companies across the country. His hotel experience includes opening a 515 room triple “A” 4 diamond resort and raising the food service department revenue from 5 million to 38 million a year. Theron, a UCSD graduate, was excited to move back to San Diego after working all over the country for casinos and hotels.
ANDREW MARTINO was born and raised in New Jersey, just outside of Manhattan. For the past 15 years, he has been involved in all levels of the industry, from bartending to executive roles, and now is the owner of Martino Hospitality Services operating in the NYC metropolitan area. They specialize in giving establishments the tools to successfully operate. He is also a founding team member of What Tax Form, a tech startup based in San Diego.
SANDRA KRAUS was born and raised in Brooklyn New,York and has traveled extensively throughout the U.S., Europe and the Middle East. She is a patron of intriguing dining, drinking and sleeping experiences and her diverse background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation and a Masters degree in Theatre. Producing this podcast is one more crazy job she adds to her life's resume.
